Abstract Egiar Aldizkaria is an art magazine editorial project developed in the cultural context of the Basque Country, which works in the creation-research tandem, based on the relationships established between image and text as fundamental interests. The following article developed the editorial experience with five issues published to date (2016-2020). This trajectory is approached from the coordinating and managing work of the Editorial Team members, responsible for a task in which the editing work –as in the workshop practice– is determined from the goal of providing structural support, and therefore, aesthetic definition, to the result. The uniqueness of the editorial proposal attends to a knowledge that is conceived specific to art, producing a workspace structured by the plastic-aesthetic sensibility, within the creative and investigative framework, which enables its transmission. Ultimately, the editorial experience of Egiar Aldizkaria is addressed, from its internal constitutive process and from its evolution and results.
