Abstract In Chile, choral singing has historically been incorporated into teaching programs, both school and university, making use of the vocal and choral instrument as an organic instrument immediately available to all human beings, accompanying their learning and exploration processes. Within this reality, it has been necessary to generate strategies for the selection of repertoire, which is often insufficient and, on many occasions, is of inaccessible difficulty for less experienced choirs. These strategies lie in the possibility of generating updated repertoires, usually based on the interpretation of arrangements and adaptations where the characteristics of the choir are seen as a tool rather than a limitation, with the aim of enhancing their musical exploration.
