Abstract This article aims to establish a preliminary approach between poetic and sound language in the performance theater stage experience of Alberto Kurapel, a Chilean stage creator exiled in Canada, Montreal, during the military dictatorship of 1973. The contributions of Performance Theater are found in the interstitial forms of his dramatic writing of exile, noticing in it the fracture as a space of alterity that gives rise to a liminal and atopic narrative, discovering a binary opposition between institutionalization and deterritoriality of the cultural.
